Birreria Club Weizen is located on Via Otello Putinati, in the south-eastern part of Ferrara, in the old Borgo di San Luca, just steps from the Burana canal that leads to the city walls near the Baluardo dell’Amore and its Archaeological Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This Historic Shop dates back to 1920, when it was born as a bar with an attached billiard room. From 1985 the venue was transformed into a pub. In 1995 Barbara Maietti and Mauro Balocchi, young and full of enthusiasm at the time, took up the challenge and created Club Weizen, with a single goal: to make people feel good. The aim of the business was to create a welcoming place, able to make guests feel at home. The layout of the venue and its cozy atmosphere have always lent themselves to socializing, becoming a place where people came not only to eat and drink, but above all to meet, chat, and share time together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The star of Club Weizen has always been the bar counter, distinctive and dating back to the 1950s. The counter of a beer hall is, by definition, the place where free time is spent with friends, new people are met, and where everyone chats, debates and shares their passions. The counter represents communication and sharing, and it is the beating heart, the soul, of this Historic Shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The jovial atmosphere of this beer hall has therefore contributed over the years to the success of the business, naturally combined with the quality of its offerings: a selection of 12 different draft beers from traditional breweries as well as from more contemporary and sought-after ones, both international and local, good wine from small wineries, and an excellent variety of whisky and rum. To accompany the drinks, the venue also offers a small kitchen menu of tasty piadine, delicious sandwiches and creative crostini, always served with good cheer, warmth and good music.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
