Ferrara has lived, lives and will live through its traditions, its flavours, its scents and its illustrious history, but also through the Historic Shops that have marked, and still mark, the daily life of its citizens. Every historic shop holds small pieces of history that, put together, rebuild the collective memory of the city: 19th-century foundings, businesses passed down through generations, crafts that have survived in Ferrara for centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a selection of angles for anyone looking for a story to tell:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Al Brindisi \u2014 formerly Hostaria dal Chiucchiolino, the oldest inn in the world (1435), listed in the Guinness World Records.
