9 Saturday was another day full of sport and good spirits.
The program kicked off at the Sports Village, set up in Sottomura via Baluardi, where Saturday was packed with events from early morning, starting with the second edition of “Social Ride”. For cycling enthusiasts, “Mura a pedali” (walls by bike) set off, a route that winds along the city's ancient walls: from here you could come down and pass by the historic Bar Stella for a delightful break.

Corso Porta Mare, 76, Ferrara, FE Heading then towards the center, Piazza della Cattedrale hosted fencing duels and dance performances. What better stage than the Cathedral's facade? For a vitamin boost, Farmacia Navarra was ready to take care of athletes with the best supplements… and watch out for muscle strains!

Corso Martiri della Libertà, 89, Ferrara, FE A little further on, on Via Canonica, Felloni dal 1946, a historic boutique that, with fine fabrics and a made-to-measure service, could craft the perfect outfit, worthy of the national team's formal uniform!

Via Canonica, 6, Ferrara, FE Ferrara Sport Festival wasn't just about physical activity, but also information and communication: it in fact hosted a rich program of conferences on Sport and Health. Speaking of wellness, every true athlete knows that protein is essential for muscle growth… for this reason, the itinerary included a visit to La Bottega del Formaggio or Macelleria Paltrinieri on Via Cortevecchia, to stock up on certified, top-quality food.

Via Cortevecchia, Ferrara, FE In the Darsena, meanwhile, the “Combat Sports and Martial Arts Festival” ran all day long… in short, sport for every taste and age. The program offered countless activities at all the city's sports facilities, endless options for children, adults, seniors and people with disabilities, because Sport is for everyone and is the emblem of inclusivity!
Once the next day's program was picked, it was time for a well-deserved relaxing evening – after all, it was Saturday night! The suggestion was one of the historic sandwiches at La Cantinetta or a tasty burger at Wilson's Pub, paired with a good beer, music and good cheer.
